Tic-Tac-Dough is an American television game show based on the paper-and-pencil game of tic-tac-toe. Contestants answer trivia questions to put up their respective symbol, X or O, on a tic-tac-toe board. Four versions were produced: the initial 1956–1959 run on NBC, a 1978–1986 run initially on CBS and then in first-run syndication, a syndicated run in 1990, and a 2025 revival on Game Show Network.

Will Shakespeare, also known as Life of Shakespeare and William Shakespeare: His Life & Times, is a 1978 British historical drama series created and written by John Mortimer. Broadcast in six parts, the series is a dramatisation of the life and times of the great playwright and poet William Shakespeare, played by Tim Curry, and was co-produced by Lew Grade's ATV and RAI and distributed internationally by ITC. The two production companies had collaborated the previous year on Jesus of Nazareth.

Wok with Yan is a Chinese cuisine cooking show starring Stephen Yan. The show was first produced in Vancouver, British Columbia by CTV affiliate BCTV as a weekly show, Yan's Woking, for two seasons before moving to CBC in 1980 as a daily show, Wok with Yan The show was also sold into syndication, with new episodes being produced until 1995. Wok with Yan was co-produced by Carleton Productions in Ottawa, which had previously produced The Galloping Gourmet and Celebrity Cooks, and Stephen Yan Productions, and was taped at CJOH's studios in Ottawa for two seasons before moving production to CBC Vancouver.

ABC Weekend Special is a weekly 30-minute American television anthology series for children that aired Saturday mornings on ABC from September 10, 1977 to August 30, 1997, which featured a wide variety of stories that were both live-action and animated. Similar to both ABC Afterschool Special and The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie, the ABC Weekend Special differed in that it was primarily aimed at younger viewers following ABC's Saturday-morning cartoon lineup, whereas the ABC Afterschool Special was known for its somewhat more serious, and often dramatic, storylines dealing with issues concerning a slightly older teen and pre-teen audience. Citizen Smith is a British television sitcom written by John Sullivan, first broadcast from 1977 to 1980. It starred Robert Lindsay as Walter Henry "Wolfie" Smith, a young Marxist "urban guerrilla" in Tooting, south London, who is attempting to emulate his hero Che Guevara.
