The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour is an American comedy and variety show television series hosted by the Smothers Brothers that aired on CBS from February 5, 1967, to April 20, 1969. The series was a major success, especially considering it was scheduled against the major NBC television series Bonanza, with content that appealed to contemporary youth viewership with daring political satire humor and significant popular music performers such as Buffalo Springfield, Pete Seeger, the Beatles, and the Who. Despite this success, continual conflicts with network executives over content led to the show being abruptly pulled from the schedule in violation of the Smothers' contract in 1969.

Bamse – Världens starkaste björn (Swedish for 'Bamse – The World's Strongest Teddy Bear') is a Swedish cartoon created by Rune Andréasson. The highly popular children's cartoon first emerged as a series of television short films as well as a weekly half-page Sunday strip in 1966, before being published periodically in its own comic magazine since 1973. Big Chuck and Lil' John were a duo of entertainers and horror hosts based in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, consisting of Charles Mitchell "Big Chuck" Schodowski (June 28, 1934 – January 19, 2025) and "Lil' John" Rinaldi (born January 19, 1946). They co-hosted a late-night program over Cleveland television station WJW (channel 8) from 1979 until 2007, but Schodowski's tenure at the station dated back to 1961, first as a technician, then as a sidekick for Ghoulardi (Ernie Anderson) and a co-host alongside Bob "Hoolihan" Wells. In addition to hosting a movie with a live audience, they also performed original sketch comedy routines.
